Muzeum vědy

This museum is located within the grounds of the university and grounds where Gregor Mendel did his famous experiments on peas and plants. The museum is not actually that big, but about the right size for an introduction on genetics. Nearly a third of the museum is dedicated to Mendelian inheritance, which really takes me back to my school days. The remainder of the museum is split between the life of Mendel and more information about genetics, inheritance and some general biology.A fantastic museum that I could not miss while in the city. The museum is a great way to honour a man ahead of his times and brought us into the modern age of genetics.

the place alone is really amazing, and the attractions, except for the fact that it's for smaller ones, are great, but the canteen is awful, it's dirty, small, and you can't choose from many foods. I got one and it was first of all bad, and second it had so much pepper, for like approx five other foods and it would be still spicy. the food is just terrible. I would give this whole place a 3/5, the food is making it so much worse, please fix it or just try to get it better.

Very nice place to spend the whole days with kids. But even adults will have their fun!At the moment there's a coffee exposition which I would recommend for every coffee lover.

Unfortunately, you will NOT learn much because most of the exposition does not contain any information/explanation but only questions instead (e.g. Your weight is different on every planet. Do you know why?" - and that is it - so you should google the answer probably...) No caffeteria. Czech only."

One of the coolest places in Plzen for whole family! You can spend here easily entire day.

Amazing museum, with very interesting and updated interactive content! You get to learn about Mendel’s brilliant mind and on the same time for the advance of biology.A must visit for any age if you are visiting Brno.PS helpful staff that offers a tour guide which you can arrange by mail or on the spot.

Truly a wonderful place, and I made a special trip to return on purpose. The only reason for 4/5 stars is that the staff wasn’t paying close enough attention to many of the complex exhibits that combine physical machines with computer-based UX, so about 20% of some exhibits weren’t working and needed a restart that only an adult would recognize and request. Another drawback is that the food selection isn’t representative of the price point and quality of the facility—mainly sugary pre-made snacks and vending machines, and the only warm food is like French fries and spaghetti bolognese and soup. Anyway the place is awesome but shouldn’t get lazy

This museum is very cool for children and adults alike. The history museum is very innovatively exhibited with comics and games and board games. The maths and logic is the most fun and largest time to spend.

It was awesome experience, lots of stuff to do. This place was great to visit while I was on vacation. It was easily found, it kept us busy for few hours and it was also very entertaining. Me and my friend enjoyed it a lot. The attractions are great. If you are around, it is definitely worth visiting. No wait in line.
